Alloy steel tube is divided in to hot rolled (extruded) seamless steel tube and cold drawn (rolled) seamless steel tube due to different manufacturing process for alloy steel tube.
-Overview of the manufacturing process
Hot Rolled Seamless Steel Tube manufacturing process  includes round billet heating perforation, three roll cross-rolling, continous rolling or extrusion decompression, sizing or reducing, cooling billet straightening, hydraulic pressure test, flaw detection etc.
Cold drawn semaless steel tube manufacturing process including round tube heating piercing, annealing, pickling, oil mut-pass, cold drawning, cold rolling, billet heat treatment, straightening, hydrostatic test, mark, storage etc.
- Application
Alloy steel pipe is mainly used for power plants, nuclear power, high pressure boiler, high temperature superheater and reheater and other high pressure high temperature pipelines and equipment. It is the use of high  quality carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel heat resistant mateiral. Alloy steel tube is one kind of hollow cross section pipe which is widely used for transmission of fluids, such as the transportation of oil, natural gas, gas, water, machining, and some solid materials.Compared with the round steel billet, alloy steel tube has the same level of bending strength, and with a lighter weight. Besides, alloy steel pipe is an economic hollow section steel, widely used in the manufacturer of structural parts and mechanical parts, such as oil drill pipe, axles, bicycle frames and steel scaffolds used in construction. The use of alloy steel pipe manufacturing ring parts, can processing time, such as rolling bearing rings, jackets, etc., has been widely used to manufacture steel pipe. Alloy steel pipe according to the different cross-sectional shape can be divided into tube and shaped tube. Because the circle area is the largest under circum- stances of equal length, more fluid can be delivered with a circular tube. In addition, the circular cross-section to withstand internal or external radial pressure, the force is more uniform, therefore, the vast majority of steel pipe is a tube.
