We cannot ignore any detail during the steel pipe’s production process as all of them would finally determine the quality of seamless or ERW steel pipe. Today, you can hear the importance of heat treatment for steel pipe production.

It needs a microstructure even for heat treatment’s control that allows abrasion resistant steel to have a high hardness, thus, we can get high quality steel pipe with this material. This is accomplished, in part, by adding the proper alloying elements. Except this one, we still need to focus on the heating and a rapid quenching process to form microstructures such as martensite and bainite which gives the steel the required high hardness values.
