There are many types of welded steel pipes, and the role of different types of welded steel pipes is also different. Let us give you a brief introduction below.
General welded pipe: General welded pipe is used to convey low pressure fluid. Made of Q195A, Q215A, Q235A steel.
Wire bushing: It is also an ordinary carbon steel electric welded steel pipe, which is used in concrete and various structural power distribution projects. The commonly used nominal diameter is from 13-76mm. The wall of the wire sleeve is relatively thin, and most of them are used after coating or galvanizing, and a cold bend test is required.
Roller tube: It is used to weld the steel tube of the belt conveyor roller, generally made of Q215, Q235A, B steel and 20 steel, diameter 63.5-219.0mm. There are certain requirements for the pipe bend, the end surface to be perpendicular to the center line, and the ovality. Generally, hydraulic pressure and flattening tests are performed.
Transformer tube: It is used to make transformer heat pipes and other heat exchangers. It is made of ordinary carbon steel and requires flattening, flaring, bending, and hydraulic tests. The steel pipe is delivered at a fixed or double scale, which has certain requirements for the bending of the steel pipe.
Special-shaped pipes: square pipes, rectangular pipes, cap pipes, and hollow plastic steel doors and windows steel pipe welded from ordinary carbon junction structural steel and steel strips such as 16Mn, mainly used for agricultural machinery parts, steel windows and doors.
Welded thin-walled pipes: mainly used for making furniture, toys, lamps, etc. At present, the thin-walled pipe made of stainless steel strip is widely used, such as high-grade furniture, decoration, fence and so on.
